7 Multi-Location Branding Specialists - Heritage Signs & Displays

From Printing Roots to a Regional Branding Partner

Heritage began in 1977 as a printing company, where accuracy, deadlines, communication, and careful execution shaped the foundation of the business. Those early lessons continue to influence how we serve clients today.

As organizations began asking Heritage for broader visual communication support, the company expanded from printed materials into signs, graphics, displays, and branded environments. Clients needed interior solutions that could strengthen workplaces, identify spaces, guide people, recognize accomplishments, support events, communicate values, and create a more meaningful experience for employees, visitors, patients, students, guests, donors, members, and stakeholders.

Beginning in 2009, Heritage’s transition into custom signs, interior graphics, workplace branding, and event environment solutions became a defining part of the company’s future. Charlotte played an important role in that growth as Heritage expanded its regional presence, production capabilities, leadership structure, and ability to serve organizations across the Carolinas.

Our printing foundation still matters because it taught us to respect details, honor deadlines, communicate clearly, and understand that every finished piece represents the organization behind it.

Veteran-Owned. Family-Led. Faith-Guided.

Heritage has been shaped by leadership, faith, family, service, and a long-term commitment to doing work the right way.

Joe Gass joined Heritage in 1988 after completing six years of service in the United States Navy. His military background helped shape a leadership style built on preparation, discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and follow-through. Those values continue to influence how Heritage supports clients, develops team members, manages projects, and responds when challenges arise.

As a family-led company, Heritage believes that trust is earned through consistency over time. We want clients, employees, vendors, and community partners to experience a company that values relationships, communicates honestly, and serves with care.

As a faith-guided company, Heritage seeks to operate with humility, stewardship, integrity, and gratitude. We believe people matter more than transactions, and the way we serve should reflect the values we claim.

Those convictions influence our leadership, culture, decisions, client communication, and commitment to excellence in the work entrusted to us.

Headquartered in Charlotte and Built for Regional Support

Charlotte is more than one of Heritage’s markets. It is the center of the company’s leadership, production, administration, and long-term regional growth.

Heritage’s Charlotte headquarters supports clients throughout the Charlotte region and across the Carolinas with a coordinated team, expanded production resources, project management, fabrication capability, and installation by Heritage team members. That headquarters strength gives Charlotte-area organizations access to both responsive local service and the broader experience of a company approaching its 50th anniversary.

This matters for organizations planning workplace interiors, corporate branding, healthcare environments, university spaces, recognition displays, event graphics, sports venue graphics, and multi-location branding initiatives. These projects often require accurate site information, practical material recommendations, scheduling discipline, production knowledge, installation planning, and clear communication from beginning to end.

By connecting local relationships with headquarters resources, Heritage helps Charlotte and Carolinas clients move from early project goals to finished branded environments with greater confidence, consistency, and accountability.

Serving Charlotte and Surrounding Carolinas Business Communities

Charlotte is a growing business, healthcare, education, sports, manufacturing, logistics, finance, nonprofit, and faith-based market where organizations continually invest in the spaces that represent them.

Heritage serves clients throughout Charlotte, Uptown, South End, Ballantyne, University City, the airport corridor, and surrounding Carolinas business communities with custom signs, interior graphics, wall displays, dimensional lettering, privacy film, wayfinding elements, event signage, donor recognition displays, and branded workplace solutions.

Each type of organization uses its space differently. A corporate headquarters may need to communicate culture and welcome clients. A healthcare environment may need clarity, comfort, and navigation. A university or school may need graphics that reinforce belonging and pride. A nonprofit or ministry may need displays that tell a story and recognize support. A venue or event team may need branded graphics that guide guests and elevate sponsor visibility.

Heritage helps organizations bring those priorities together through visual solutions that are practical, meaningful, and aligned with the way people experience the space.

One Connected Team from Planning to Installation

A successful branded interior or event environment depends on more than producing a sign or graphic.

It requires careful listening, site review, planning, design coordination, file preparation, material selection, fabrication, scheduling, installation planning, and communication with the people responsible for the finished space. Heritage’s turnkey approach connects those steps through one coordinated team.

For Charlotte and Carolinas clients, that means projects can be guided from early conversation through completion with clearer accountability. Our team can help understand project goals, review site conditions, coordinate environmental graphic design concepts, prepare production-ready artwork, produce custom signs and displays, fabricate interior branding elements, and complete installation through Heritage team members.

That connected process is especially valuable when projects involve multiple departments, leadership approvals, facility requirements, construction timelines, brand standards, campus conditions, venue access, or event deadlines. By keeping project management, production, fabrication, and installation connected, Heritage helps protect the quality, consistency, and final impact of the branded environment.

Growth Built Through Trust and Follow-Through

Heritage’s growth in Charlotte and across the Carolinas has been built through relationships, not shortcuts.

Many client relationships begin with one project and continue because the experience gives clients confidence. They remember whether communication was clear, whether details were handled responsibly, whether the team followed through, and whether the finished environment reflected what they hoped to accomplish.

That kind of trust matters in a growing region where organizations are opening new offices, renovating workplaces, expanding campuses, refreshing brands, hosting major events, recognizing donors, supporting employees, and investing in spaces that need to make the right impression. A successful project requires more than attractive signs and graphics. It requires a team that understands both the client’s goals and the practical realities of production and installation.

Heritage continues to invest in people, equipment, technology, facilities, training, and leadership so we can serve clients with greater consistency and care.

We believe growth is most meaningful when it helps us serve others better.

Bringing Brand, Culture, and Space Together

The strongest branded environments help people understand the organization behind the space.

A lobby can create confidence before a conversation begins. A culture wall can reinforce shared values. A donor recognition display can express gratitude. A workplace graphics program can support belonging. A wayfinding system can reduce confusion. A sports venue or event environment can strengthen energy, visibility, movement, and sponsor recognition.

Heritage helps Charlotte and Carolinas organizations bring brand, culture, and space together through thoughtful interior signs, graphics, displays, and branded environments. We begin by listening to the goals behind the project and understanding the people who will experience the finished space. From there, our team helps recommend solutions that are practical, attractive, durable, and aligned with the organization’s identity.

Every organization has a mission, story, audience, and purpose. Our role is to help those qualities become part of the physical experience people remember.

We see each project as an opportunity to serve well, solve responsibly, and create spaces that communicate with clarity and care.

Looking Toward the Future

As Heritage approaches its 50th anniversary in 2027, we remain thankful for the clients, employees, families, vendors, and communities that have helped build the company’s story.

We are continuing to invest in our Charlotte headquarters, strengthen our Carolinas presence, develop our team, expand our capabilities, and prepare the next generation of leadership to build upon the foundation established in 1977. Our growth is not simply about becoming larger. It is about becoming more prepared, more dependable, and more capable of supporting organizations whose spaces, events, and brands deserve thoughtful attention.

We are grateful for every client that has trusted Heritage with its workplace, office, campus, healthcare environment, venue, donor recognition display, event environment, or branded interior project. That trust is something we are committed to stewarding well.

As we look ahead, our commitment is to keep serving with humility, leading with care, strengthening our people, and helping Carolinas organizations create environments that reflect who they are.
