The Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA) presented Heritage Printing, Signs & Displays, Inc. of Charlotte, NC with the Mac Papers Best of Show in the 2016 PICA Awards Competition on April 29, 2017 in Concord, North Carolina. The PICA Awards competition is celebrating its 51st season and continues to be one of the largest printing contests in the nation.
Since 1931, PICA, a trade association headquartered in Charlotte, NC, represents the graphic communications industry in North and South Carolina.
The PICA Awards Competition is an annual event that was established in 1966 to recognize and reward printing and imaging companies who combine fine craftsmanship with technology to produce outstanding finished products. The award‐winning companies are honored each year at the PICA Awards Banquet.
The awards were determined by a panel of out of area judges with extensive experience in printing and print production brought in to examine the work. Each entry was judged on its own merit in a category with similar printed pieces.
