Atrium Health and Carolina Panthers: A Partnership of Therapy Through Play

In March 2022, Atrium Health partnered with the Carolina Panthers to revitalize a play therapy room in the Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte facility with updated wall wraps. Representatives from Atrium Health reached out to Heritage, Printing, Signs & Displays to carry out the branding of the space to encourage positive mental health and emotional recovery in children.

A Friendly Interior Space Ideal for Emotional Wellness

The play therapy room is equipped with durable toys that are easy to clean and designed to encourage the spirit of play and recovery for Charlotte area pediatric patients. The grant provided by the Carolina Panthers allowed for this amazing endeavor between two of the Queen City’s most impactful organizations.

The collaboration process between Heritage and Atrium Health involved several key aspects, the most important, creating a friendly interior space that is an ideal environment for positive emotional recovery for children. Specifically, this endeavor involved updating the Children’s Playroom at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte with artwork created by Varsity Partners that will encourage a friendly atmosphere. The Heritage team was tasked with implementing the artwork by recommending and using the proper materials and employing our leading production process and installation techniques.

A Room of Restoration

On the day of the installation, the Heritage installation team undertook the branding of the play therapy room using wall wraps to adhere the Varsity Partners artwork to the walls. All four walls were wrapped with a continuous design using 3M vinyl and laminate. These materials allowed for the artwork to be easily cleaned and securely attached to the walls of the space with minimal risk of peeling or fading over time. The result was a soothing space designed to encourage positive emotional recuperation in children and highlight Atrium Health’s partnership with the Carolina Panthers that made it possible. Upon completion, our collaborators at Atrium Health were very pleased with the results and the beneficial impact they will have on recuperating children in the Charlotte community.

The team of corporate signage experts at Heritage Signs & Displays recently collaborated with the staff at Line-X to create and install new banners, wall displays, frosted vinyl graphics, and wayfinding signs for their Franchise Support Center in Charlotte, NC.

The Line-X brand is a tough and durable spray-on bedliner for boats, trailers, motorcycles, and just about anything that needs protection from the harshest elements. Line-X products have numerous applications for the manufacturing industry and the military, as well as providing truck accessories through the Truck Gear product line.

Line-X’s Franchise Support Center in Charlotte is an office location for Line-X franchise owners to receive support for their store locations across the United States. The goal for the updated corporate interior was to reflect Line-X’s commitment to consumer and commercial service, as well as excellence in the workplace with new wall wraps, hanging pole banners, and other adhesive vinyl graphics to reflect the company’s values.

When the sign installation professionals at Heritage Signs & Displays were contacted to update the interior of the Line-X Franchise Support Center, we got to work creating new custom signs that would suit the company’s goals.

The custom-painted HDU Line-X logo was securely affixed to the building’s exterior using scissor lifts to display the company logo proudly above the facility’s windows.

The hanging pole banners were created using double-sided vinyl that was securely bound and hung from the ceiling using pole pockets. The banners displayed the company values for the sake of encouraging positive employee morale in a way that matched the official colors and branding.

Four wall murals were created highlighting Line-X’s place in the consumer and commercial automotive industries and integrated with their facility to make the experiential graphics seamless and immersive.

Standoff mounted Associate of the Quarter signs were installed to highlight which employees performed in an exemplary manner in each quarter.

Frosted vinyl window graphics were applied to the exterior doors and foyer glass to amplify Line-X’s corporate branding throughout the space.

Vinyl graphics were utilized in the updating of the names on existing directional signs.

The Heritage sign installers adhered to our time-honed procedures for speedy and efficient sign installations, communicating with the Line-X staff to make sure that their signage was custom-cut to fit their space and reflected their automotive branding effectively. We conducted a site survey beforehand and collaborated with the staff at every stage to ensure complete satisfaction with the results of our work.

Upon completion of the interior graphics update, the staff members at the Line-X Franchise Support Center were pleased with the results of the Heritage team’s work. Line-X looks forward to continued branding collaborations with our talented sign installation professionals.

Our custom signage experts recently collaborated on a project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport to create and install wall wraps in the airport’s interior for a holiday season experience.

Heritage Signs & Displays was contacted to create and install new wall wraps in the airport’s interior. The goal was to make holiday-themed custom displays that would celebrate the holiday season with appropriate iconography, including a reindeer, Christmas tree, candy canes, holiday wreathes, and a menorah that would integrate with airport lights affixed to the walls.

When the Heritage team was contacted to produce and install these custom holiday graphics, we set out to create wall wraps that would captivate travelers and staff members to amplify the holiday spirit within the space. The wall wraps were UV printed and rectangular cut to fit the airport’s walls. The design of the wraps created the illusion of the safety lights being plugged into the wall and illuminating the reindeer’s nose, the top of the Christmas tree, and the candles of the menorah. When these elements were combined, the result was a creative integration of airport safety lights and other common materials such as orange safety cones to decorate the space in accordance with the season.

Our team conducted a site survey before the date of the installation to ensure that the new wall wraps could be affixed efficiently without obstructing foot traffic or impeding the progress of flights. Our collaborators at Charlotte Douglas International Airport were joyful with the results of our team’s work. The space has been transformed through unique signage solutions to make the holiday season shine bright in a creative way within the busy airport’s interior space.
