Axios | Project Spotlight
Delivering Branded Visuals Across Four High-Profile DC Events
Across a 6-month period, Axios hosted four signature events across Washington, DC: Future of Defense: The Mega-Decade, What’s Next Summit, Future Summit, and Building the Future: AI, Trade, and the New Rules of Power. Each featured dynamic programming and influential speakers—requiring bold, professional visual displays to match.
Heritage Signs & Displays partnered with Axios to support every event with coordinated production, delivery, installation, and removal of branded environments across venues including the Hamilton Hotel, Planet Word, and the InterContinental Wharf.
Project Goals and Background
Axios needed a partner who could execute across different venues, adapt to fast-moving approvals, and maintain brand consistency with every event. Each location presented a unique layout and schedule, but the visual goal remained the same: deliver impactful branding to reinforce the Axios message and improve the attendee experience.
Heritage served as the turnkey branding partner from production to installation, ensuring every visual element was in place ahead of doors opening—whether it was a weekday morning or a weekend setup.

Solutions and Processes Delivered
- Event Signs & Banners: Freestanding A-frame signs and retractable banners were used to welcome guests and mark entry points across multiple locations.
- Adhesive Vinyl Graphics: Graphics applied to bar fronts, tables, mirrors, and walls brought branded messaging directly into high-traffic areas.
- Meter Boards: Single and double-sided foam core meter boards displayed agendas, speaker details, and sponsor recognition.
- Large Format Displays: One event featured a three-panel air wall display measuring 14 feet tall to define the main stage backdrop.
- Wayfinding Signs: Applied vinyl floor graphics and stair riser decals guided attendees through hotel lobbies and venue corridors.
- Installation Services: Heritage coordinated delivery, setup, and takedown, including weekend and evening timelines based on venue access and event needs.
Each event was delivered with precise coordination, allowing Axios to focus on programming while Heritage transformed their spaces.

Final Outcome
Across four events, Axios and Heritage partnered to activate spaces with compelling graphics that supported the event narrative. Each installation was tailored to the venue and included a curated mix of wraps, meter boards, and freestanding signs that blended form and function.
By managing every element from production to on-site installation, Heritage gave the Axios team the freedom to focus on content while bringing the environment life through engaging signs, graphics and displays. The result was a cohesive, branded presence that amplified each event’s message.
