Custom Wall Display for Charlotte Hornets

This video has production and fabrication specialist Brent Thompson at Heritage Printing, Signs & Displays in Charlotte NC, describing the custom wall display that was created and installed at the Charlotte Hornets facility for their Group Sales Division.

• Brent begins with the application of a printed vinyl mural that was applied to the cinderblock wall of the building.  This provides a vibrant background for the wall display using the Hornets team colors.  Our printing process insures exact match of their franchise colors and logo.

• Next is the custom cut letters made with our repositionable wall graphic vinyl.  These can easily be removed and replaced, which is an added convenience when the message changes.
• The standoff mounted signs were printed on a vinyl with our latex printer and attached to a piece of Plexiglas via our laminating process.  Lamination ensures longevity and durability of the colorful image and sign.  Once printed and adhered, the signs were cut into their hexagon shape with our digital CNC router.
• Next was the acrylic brackets used to attach the custom sign to the wall.  Also cut on our CNC router and mounted to the wall to create a stand-off mounted sign that can be replaced with new signage upon request.  This custom display was designed to have hexagon signs replaced periodically, our mounting process makes that fast and easy, without having to remove the entire wall display.
