{"id":2202,"date":"2015-09-23T05:42:37","date_gmt":"2015-09-23T10:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"\/blog\/?p=2202"},"modified":"2022-09-30T07:32:51","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T11:32:51","slug":"gracefully","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heritageprintingcharlotte.com\/blog\/gracefully\/","title":{"rendered":"Gracefully"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #86be3c;\">Grace: \u0261r\u0101s\/<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #86be3c;\"><u>noun<\/u>: simple elegance or refinement of movement.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #86be3c;\"> <em>&#8220;she moved with effortless grace&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We were recently graced with the opportunity to be involved with a very special lady, Angela Williams and her extremely special little girl, Elle Grace Williams.<\/p>\n<p>Elle Grace was born with \u201cClub Feet\u201d, a birth defect that affects 1 in every 1000 children.\u00a0 It was through the birth of their daughter that the Williams first learned about club feet.\u00a0 Angela and her family learned what strength and grace truly means through the life and spirit of Elle Grace.<\/p>\n<p>We at Heritage Printing, Signs &amp; Displays were blessed with the opportunity to work with Angela and print her self-published children\u2019s book \u201c<em>Gracefully<\/em>\u201d, where she shares the highs and lows of birth defects.\u00a0 We are always proud of our work, but when something extra special arrives and we experience firsthand the love and inspiration behind a piece of work, we are euphoric and certain to share.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Gracefully<\/em>\u201d can be purchased from: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.angelaerinwilliams.com\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">http:\/\/www.angelaerinwilliams.com<\/span>\/<\/a>.<br \/>\nHere is a piece of the story behind the story:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.angelaerinwilliams.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2211\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/gracefully-800x600.gif\" alt=\"Gracefully\" srcset=\"https:\/\/heritageprintingcharlotte.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/gracefully-800x600.gif 800w, https:\/\/heritageprintingcharlotte.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/gracefully-300x225.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #86be3c;\"><strong><em>What is Grace?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I wrote \u201c<em>Gracefully<\/em>\u201d as healing and encouragement for other parents going through the experience of finding out their child will be born with a birth defect.<\/p>\n<p><em>From the moment Elle Grace Williams was born I was determined to hide her feet until they were fixed and &#8220;normal&#8221;. Angela Williams<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Thank goodness for Brandy Cardarelli, our friend and photographer, I had left the room and Brandy removed a blanket capturing Elle in the warm filtered light of May.\u00a0 It&#8217;s one of the few images we have of Elle&#8217;s feet from those first 6 days of life.\u00a0 I wasn&#8217;t comfortable showing anyone what they really looked like.\u00a0 I was hiding what I thought wasn&#8217;t perfect.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #86be3c;\"><strong><em>But she was perfect.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Thank you Brandy for being able to see what I couldn&#8217;t yet.\u00a0 I was a mom who believed I could only show the world perfection.\u00a0 I wasn&#8217;t able to see yet what only she could be.\u00a0 And already was.\u00a0 A perfect human being all her own.
